Dance Program - Distance Learning
DANCE
Students registered for the dance track take courses in technique and movement theory. The program emphasizes technique courses in ballet, modern, jazz, and contemporary. Students are exposed to a variety of other styles to ensure well-rounded artistic development. The students perform faculty, guest, and student choreography at the end of every semester. Students will also be able to collaborate with other departments to produce *solo and group projects.
*Solo projects require private lessons.
Students who choose dance as their primary concentration may customize their program by combining their dance instruction with art or film classes. Students may add a music elective to Upon acceptance into the program, students meet with an advisor to determine the appropriate course of study.
The Distance Learning Program is for fine arts classes only. Acceptance into the program does not constitute eligibility for admission into academic programs.
