A CHARGE FROM OUR CHAIRMAN
Intense brightness of light. Vividness of color. Exceptional talent or intelligence. These definitions all belong to the same word: brilliant. At OCSA, we believe that before this quality is demonstrated in a classroom, on a canvas, stage, or even experienced in a community, it first begins within an individual. The Willis faculty and staff are committed to igniting exceptionality in their students by helping them discover what makes them unique. Education is a journey of recognizing oneself more clearly, and for those who are willing to take the voyage, the result is a lifetime of exciting discoveries. As members of our community, all students receive the charge to "Go, and Be Brilliant." The going comes naturally, but choosing to be brilliant along the way is a choice. For those who choose the path of uniqueness, the world is not the same -- both for the ones who choose to realize their own giftedness and for those who are impacted by their choice. I challenge all in the Willis community to remember that Incipit in claritate is not just a motto; it’s a lifestyle.

The importance of our mission. While preparing for college is a foundational goal at Willis, our primary purpose of encouraging students to think creatively will prepare them for a lifetime of success, empowering them to become transformational leaders. OCSA seeks to instill its guiding principles of respect, compassion, and integrity in all of its students.
The exceptionality of our atmosphere. Our faculty is made up of individuals who are committed to using their talents and experience to help their students grow in healthy and substantial ways. Focusing on each child’s unique personality and abilities creates a supportive environment where artists are not only encouraged to refine their skills but also experiment creatively.
